Man or woman, young or old, we all want recognition. We all need to be heard. We want to be respected. We all want to be loved.
And most importantly, we want to be able to share ourselves with others.
We know from the history of orphanages, that babies who don`t receive human warmth failed to thrive. They could be fed and bathed, but without human contact, they die.
Although such isolation won`t kill us as adults (at least not immediately), over the course of years, we have reacted to scars from our upbringing, pain from failed relationships and emotional traumas by creating a series of barriers that prevent us from getting what we need from others.
One way we have filled our personal emptiness is with our addiction
A Power Circle gives you to tools to replace the emptiness once you have lost interest in your addiction.
Imagine lying on the floor with a 10 week old puppy. Every one of us can enjoy the fullness of that moment with a puppy that can hardly contain itself with joy and energy. We all still have this capacity with a puppy and we can expand this capacity with others we select in our family and community.
With a series of safe and structured exercises, each client is able to experience being seen, heard and recognized. Each client, without effort or anxiety, is able to give this experience to others in their group. Like going to the gym to build a muscle, each person is given the time during the seminar to build this `relationship muscle.`
Our goal is to free you from recovery groups by giving you the tools and practice to enjoy and expand your relationships in your own family and community.
This exercise alone makes the seminar worth many times the price.
Are building relationships a priority in your own recovery process? If so, you can call us at (415) 259-0652 to find out about our free relationship training workshop or reserve your space
